All orders are packed in our insulated packaging. 

Cold items may be kept at temperature for up to 4 hours, hot items may be kept at temperature for 90 minutes.

We allow a one hour delivery window on all cold items, and a 45 minute delivery window on all hot items.

Occasionally we may experience traffic delays that are beyond our control, in this event, our driver will contact you at the first possible opportunity to notify you of this. There are no discounts, refunds or compensations offered for these delays.

 

Our minimum order for Monday - Friday is $100, excluding delivery. Weekends require a minimum order of $200, excluding delivery.

The Catering Dept was great. I utilised their services for a morning tea at work. Their website makes placing an order simple and easy. The tax invoice is easily accessible through their platform and the catering was delivered slightly ahead of schedule - so smooth, so easy!

We hosted our annual Christmas event, and it was a stand out event! The food was beautiful and the team at The Catering Department were so helpful and accomodating and did everything to ensure we hosted a smooth and successful event. I used the catering dept for my daughters recent 21st. I chose the buffet package and it was absolutely amazing. I chose the Catering Dept by reviews and they did NOT disappoint. The food arrived hot, on time and it was very tasty. It was plentiful . we had plenty of leftovers. some of my guests were the fussiest eaters but they even enjoyed the food. I would use the TCD again for my next function.
